Make money with ride sharing apps

Reading Time: 7 mins

Ride sharing apps are an increasingly popular way to get about or, for many, to make extra cash.

Uber is by far the most used in the UK and has revolutionised our relationship with taxis. The convenience, choice of luxury vehicles, and cheaper prices have made it a go-to for many people taking cabs.

As Uber’s popularity grows, competitors are cropping up all the time. This can make it difficult to choose which one to drive for.

If you’ve ever considered driving for one of these companies yourself and want to get started, read on.

What Do I Need to Start Driving for Ride Sharing Companies?

Make money with ride sharing apps

Of course, you’ll need a driving license, and having a few points on it isn’t necessarily a barrier to entry. Each case it examined differently, so it’s always worth applying. You will need to get a DBS check as part of the process.

Beyond that, each platform has its own specific requirements. But as a minimum you’ll usually need to be aged 21 or over and have at least a year of driving experience, or three years if you’re under 23.

The car you have may affect the tier you drive for with companies like Uber, but generally it doesn’t need to be super flash. They recommend the car wasn’t made before 2008, and of course it will need to be in good condition and have a valid MOT.

The ride sharing economy can be competitive, so newer cars may get more customers. But the main thing is it’s in good condition and kept clean so you get that all-important positive feedback from passengers.

Some drivers prefer to rent a car, which may be a better option than upgrading your current vehicle. But you will need to factor rental costs into your budget.

Finally, you’ll need to apply for a private hire license through your local council. The process varies depending on if you’re in London or not, and Northern Ireland has its own rules. Check out the government website here for more info.

The Different Ride Sharing Apps

Make money with ride sharing apps

Everyone knows Uber, and they have a wide spread in the UK. They’re particularly popular in London, as well as Birmingham, Cambridge, Newcastle, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Belfast among many others.

Alternative companies include Kapten, Bolt, ViaVan, and Gett. Here’s a rundown of their differences:

Uber

As of April 2016, Uber takes a 25% cut of your earnings. They have a wide reach around the UK and many customers are used to travelling with them. That said, the competition may be higher with Uber as there are lots of other drivers vying for business. But they’re currently the only real option for drivers outside of London.

Kapten

This is a similar platform, but Kapten offers cheaper fares for passengers and take a lower cut from drivers, just 15%. This works out well for both parties, and Kapten may simply be offering better rates as a way to undercut Uber as the market leader.

What’s more, unlike Uber they cover drivers’ Congestion Charge costs.

Bolt

Another similar platform shaking up the market, Bolt also offers a low 10%-20% cut and cheaper fares for passengers.

Bolt doesn’t outright pay Congestion Charge costs, but tops up your fare a little when you travel through low-emission zones to help with the cost.

ViaVan

ViaVan takes a different approach, styling itself as a kind of on-demand bus service. The cut is 15%, so again lower than Uber. Generally passengers travel in larger vehicles and share their trip with others, which can be very cost effective for them. There is also a private hire option.

Gett

To drive for Gett you have to already be a black cab driver. That said, if you do happen to be a cabbie then Gett can be a good way to get extra work and jump on the app-based taxi revolution. So, not one for most people but worth a mention here.

What’s the Onboarding Process?

Make money with ride sharing apps

It varies from platform to platform, but most companies have an online form where you fill in your personal and vehicle details. You’ll often be invited to an in-person session to be trained on the basics, including what to do if a passenger falls asleep!

Each platform gives details on the documents you’ll need. It can take up to 16 weeks to get the private hire license, but it’s usually shorter than this. Registering with the companies themselves once you have the license usually takes a few days.

What Are the Benefits?

As with a lot of self-employed positions, there’s a lot of flexibility in your work. Some people drive as a full-time job, while others do it as a side gig.

You can keep regular 9-5 hours or drive through the night. It can also work well for people with unusual or unpredictable hours, say those on zero-hour contracts who suddenly need a bit of extra cash. Once you’re registered, you just hop in your car, turn on the app, and start driving.

But whenever you work, it’s vital that you don’t overdo it. Having passengers is a big responsibility and you should keep your total hours within sensible limits and stop when you get tired.

A Note on Self-Employment

The situation is on-going, but drivers for ride sharing apps are currently considered self-employed contractors. That means signing up with HMRC and filing a tax return each year. This definition may change in the future but it’s something you’ll have to do for the time being.

You’ll also have to earn enough to cover your own holidays and sick leave, as you won’t be entitled to this through self-employed work. This is worth factoring into your calculations when deciding if ride sharing will work for you.

For an overview, check out our free eBook on becoming self-employed here.

Another thing to note is that Uber is currently undergoing legal challenges and their future in London and the rest of the UK is uncertain. At the time of writing, though, they’re still operating.

So How Much Can You Earn?

Make money with ride sharing apps

The all-important question: What’s your earning potential with Uber and other ride sharing apps?

The short answer is it really depends. Those with a newer, higher-end car who drive full time in London will earn the most.

To take Uber as an example, they claim their London drivers earn an average of £15 an hour. But a recent study by Oxford University found that after expenses, it’s more like £11 an hour.

To take Newcastle as an example, Indeed puts the average earnings at £12.50 per hour, but that doesn’t seem to take expenses into account.

Given that you can only drive so much per week without overdoing it, it’s up to you to decide if the possible earnings are worth it. But as a side gig, it may help boost your income.

How the Earnings Shape Up

The Oxford Uni figure makes it simple to estimate earnings because it takes expenses into account.

For the below, we’ll assume seven hours of driving a day, five days a week as a full-time job. You should be taking breaks for food and to avoid fatigue, plus days off in the week.

Driving for 35 active hours a week at a rate of £11 is £385. Assuming you took four weeks off a year for holidays and sick leave, that would be £18,480.

Taking the Newcastle example, assuming expenses take about £4 an hour off your total wage, the realistic yearly figure would be about £14,280.

At the time of writing, you only pay income tax on earnings above £11,850. The money in your pocket per month in London would be £16,104 a year. In the Newcastle example it would be a total of £13,248.

It’s important to note that these figures are approximate. Many factors including type of vehicle, location, and the time of day you drive will raise or lower your income.

Peak times with higher fares include morning and evening commutes, Monday mornings and Friday evenings for airport runs, and dinnertime at the weekend.

Platforms like Kapten and Bolt are less studied, but may well offer greater earning potential given that they take a lower cut. They’re less used than Uber, but there are so many potential passengers in London and the apps’ popularity may well continue to grow.

For some, these figures may be too low to be a full-time salary. But depending on your circumstances, for example if you have low expenses or a partner contributing to the household income, this may be a good option for you.

Driving part time and supplementing another part-time role may also work for you.

Expenses as a Driver

It’s really important that you take into account the expected costs when driving, which will definitely include at least a few of the following:

  • The platform’s cut of your earnings
  • Petrol
  • Congestion charge
  • Extra car maintenance
  • Car rental fees
  • Potential fines when you’re driving more

Remember that many of the extra costs incurred for the sole purpose of your work is tax deductible. The government’s website has a handy section on expenses when you’re self-employed. Do give them a call if you have any further questions.

How to Stand Out as a Driver

Make money with ride sharing apps

Ride sharing platforms often allow passengers to tip. As well as covering the basics like having a good quality car that’s clean, and driving safely and professionally, there are a few things you can do to make a good impression:

  • Make sure you’re comfortable in your vehicle and practice driving it alone, especially if it’s a rental.
  • Know your city well and stay up to date with events like parades and protests, which may block off certain neighbourhoods.
  • Make cleanliness a priority; give your car a good once-over at least once a day or throughout the day if possible.
  • Be upbeat! Many passengers tip extra for good banter (just keep it clean and non-political!) But if you get the sense your passenger just wants to ride in silence, respect that.
  • Music can help keep your ride fun. But stick to calm, neutral choices like the main local radio station, and keep the volume fairly low.
  • Having charging cables available (especially if there are USB sockets in the back) will make a lot of passengers happy.
  • Never ask for tips; let your positive, professional manner speak for you!

Is Driving for Ride Sharing Apps a Good Choice?

Only you can answer this. Taking a realistic look at the figures once expenses are taken into account, and adjusted based on your own circumstances, can give you an idea of earning potential.

It’s important not to get bamboozled by the impressive numbers posted on companies’ websites, as they often don’t include those all-important extra expenses.

It may be that the earning potential is too low for you. But if you’re looking to supplement your existing income, having a go at driving for these companies could bring in some extra cash.

Neil Patel Reviews Google’s New Link Building Guidelines

Neil Patel and SEO go together like peanut butter and jelly. Search for anything related to SEO, content marketing or affiliate marketing in Google… and you are sure to find one of Neil’s articles, companies or interviews ranking right at the top of the search results.

Millions of site owners, brands, and entrepreneurs end up on Neil’s site every month seeking his latest expertise and wisdom on everything from how to start a business, ranking higher in Google, or creating content on websites and social media that gets attention. It’s also not just his own site, but plenty of others where Neil Patel has been featured, cited as an expert, or even listed as a speaker or influencer to follow.

With all of this in mind, Google has recently been coming out with some changes and new site owner recommendations of their own – which Neil Patel also reviewed, documented and broken down into his own working protocol, making it easier for the rest of us to understand as well.

Let’s take a look at what’s making headlines in the world of SEO, what Neil has to say about it, and how I believe today’s marketers should adjust their activities accordingly.

The Landscape or SEO Today and How Google Looks at Links

Flash back a couple of decades ago to the days of Yahoo Search, Altavista and even Excite – everyone was trying to game the system and figure out how to rank their sites at the top of the search engines for big money keywords that would send them floods of traffic. Jump back to today, and nothing has really changed – except that pretty much all of the focus is on Google now, and Google has gotten better and better at out-gaming the games.

In 2019, Google pretty much controls the internet, making them the gatekeepers of information that people find when they search online. It’s been documented that there are hundreds of different data points, methods, factors and algorithms that go into determining where a given site’s pages rank for keywords – but for the most part, it’s usually a mixture of content quality and backlinks that have the most influence.

Neil Patel, for one, is of the belief that when done right, link building is more or less a future-proof SEO practice, and I’m inclined to agree. As he puts it in his review, “links will always be hard to come by, so they will be part of their algorithm for the foreseeable future.”

It’s just that compared to yesteryear, today there are also a ton of other factors that influence when, where and how a site ranks. Also, don’t forget to throw into the mix that there are now more than a billion active sites online, which are all competing for those same beloved search results.

Google Wants All Links Marked As What They Are

As Neil points out in his review of the latest SEO changes, the biggest adjustment that we need to know about today is Google requesting that everyone start labeling the type of links on their sites.

While this type of transparency is “good practice,” I’m predicting that it’s really not something you are going to come across on most websites. Unless, as Neil notes, “if Google starts placing some value on these user-generated links, it can help boost your rankings,” in which case there could be a bit of a gold rush.

Factor in that most site owners don’t want to put in the time and effort to label their links, and then another half of the internet (general bloggers) have no idea what SEO is or how to label links… often times it just seems like banter to throw something like this out there for the top SEO agencies and gurus to fight over.

And as for Neil Patel’s business interests… well, no matter what happens with Google and SEO in the future, he will be fine. As more site owners, bloggers, and brands continue to share his content on social media and publish reviews of the Neil Patel Digital agency, he will still have a virtually endless supply of traffic coming to his various media properties and presences from all directions.

You can see Neil’s breakdown of each of these new link policies and html “attributes” in the screenshot below.

Neil’s article also went into more details on what these link commands individually mean, and why Google even put them in place. Which was summed up by Google in the following:

All the link attributes — sponsored, UGC and nofollow — are treated as hints about which links to consider or exclude within Search. We’ll use these hints — along with other signals — as a way to better understand how to appropriately analyze and use links within our systems. – Google

With Google advancing their technology all the time, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had already collecting signals based on all of these html attributes in order to run ranking algorithm experiments that are already underway.

And at the same time, when you think about the “rel=sponsored” tag, you aren’t going to see many brands requesting this type of link on your site. Some of the largest brands in the world might, if they are running an obvious campaign through a large SEO or outreach company – but most of these brands want the SEO juice, and don’t want to be seen as buying “sponsored” links either.

In any event, if this is something you are currently freaking out about and trying to implement overnight, no worries. Google says this implementation won’t go into effect immediately, and site owners will have until March 1, 2020 to start setting the link attributes throughout their content.

“It will probably take another year before they really catch on,” says Neil, “which means for now you will just have to focus your efforts on dofollow links.”

Just Backlinks and Articles? Throw in Social Media as Well…

And regardless, as much as we would all like to think SEO and ranking in Google is just a matter of writing super high quality and long form content, along with getting as many quality links as possible… that’s no longer the case.

One thing that Neil does not point out in his article, in my opinion, social media is going to play an increasingly important role in all of this as well.

Without getting into too many technical specifics, Google loves social media, and they want to see more social shares, clicks coming from Facebook and Twitter back to your site, and also for content on your site to have social sharing buttons and embedded content as well.

After all, it’s all about user experience right?

You can even throw the case out there that “bounce rates” play a big role in the SEO process, and if you are going to run ads on social media to your existing audiences and fans… they would likely spend more time on your site than a random visitor, right?

These are all fine things to consider for now, but who knows when and how Google will change their perspective on these link factors in the future.

The Business of SEO and Where We Are Headed

In the world of SEO, all eyes are on Google. They are the king of search traffic – whether it’s desktop, tablet, or mobile browsing.

They are also the beginning and end of all decisions as to who ranks at the top of the search engine, and why.

This all helps the “business of SEO” as well. With such madness happening on a daily basis, and businesses of all sizes fighting for position, this just leads to more money being spent in an extremely competitive industry.

As I noted above, Neil and the enterprise companies that hire his agency will likely continue to see great rankings indefinitely. The bigger concern for everyone else, is the question of what will happen to your blog, business or brand if Google changes up their search algorithms and your site is no longer to be found?

5 Quick Tips on How to Work More Efficiently as a Small Entrepreneur

Small business owners and entrepreneurs are all over the place thanks to the power of the internet. There are now no limitations on age, knowledge and school education when it comes to pursuing one’s dream of having their own business, being an entrepreneur or even launching a startup of their own.

The main reason for this, is that the internet not only makes everything easier and more cost effective, it also provides entrepreneurs with an amazing selection of tools and resources to help them launch and hit their goals.

However, not all entrepreneurs and small business owners have the same mindset, work ethics, and goal setting practices. The ones who do have a deep passion, drive, and dedication to success, are likely the ones who see much bigger results. At the same time, they also have some of the best tools and scheduling for their day to day operations and ROI on their time as well.

To help with this process, today we are going to highlight some quick tips on how small business owners and entrepreneurs can start working smarter and more  efficiently to get more done.

1 – Focus on What You Do Best and Outsource the Rest

One of the biggest problems from entrepreneurs, is knowing where and how to spend their time. As the owner of a business, you may often think it’s best to be the jack of all trades, but soon enough you will find your time is better spent in different areas and not on all tasks.

For example, if you have a website or blog that is already making money, it’s likely a much better idea for you to outsource your content creation and marketing efforts, while you focus on scaling and growing out your time.

No matter what your expertise and focus is, at some point you will realize the power of outsourcing and earning a premium on what you do best.

2 – Know How to Best Manage Your Time

Just as important as knowing where to focus your time and expertise, is knowing how to manage it as well. This is also one of the most overlooked components to finding success when one is trying to start a business or scale it to it’s full potential.

Better time management comes in many different shapes and forms. From the most simple methods to practicing better time management on your own, to using applications or even writing down your tasks on a sheet of paper — they all help further improve your allotted time ROI throughout the day.

If you prefer managing your time on the computer, this can be as simple as downloading a weekly schedule template excel sheet where you can get an overview of your work week, easily update your calendar and also better manage the time of your employees and team members around you as well.

3 – Search for Video Tutorials from Experts on YouTube

Small business owners are working on new tasks all the time. This can be anything from starting a new website and trying to learn how to use WordPress, or implementing a new CMS or software solutions into their business.

No matter what it is, trying to figure out how to do something from scratch can suck up a lot of your time.

A better solution is to look for quality reference guides and tutorials. In most cases, you should be able to find some reliable content on YouTube for free, or investing in a professional video course through a platform like Udemy.

Whenever you look for a course of video tutorial online, be sure to skim through the comments and ratings, and this will let you know if it’s worth your time and money.

4 – Take Advantage of Gmail Canned Responses

How many emails do you receive and send daily? If you are like most entrepreneurs and small business owners, it’s probably in the 100+ range.

At the same time, how many of these emails are very similar and often ask the same question or are looking for support?

If this is the case, Google Canned Responses is a quick and easy solution for saving time and speeding through all of these incoming and outgoing emails you have to deal with on a daily basis.

Best of all, this simple solution takes less than 60 seconds to setup, but can easily save you a handful of hours every week.

5 – Use Automation and Scheduling Where Possible

A great way to save time, increase productivity, and also scale your business at the same time, is to take advantage of automation and scheduling wherever possible.

A quick and simple example of this would be to schedule out content to go live on the most popular social media platforms. By having an automated schedule in place, this could result in hundreds of hours being saved every month.

Another perfect example is to set up an autoresponder to work with your lead generation and email marketing efforts. Instead of messaging each new lead individuals, more time and effort can be spent on growing your reach and acquiring new traffic sources.

How to Grow Your Business and Expertise

As business owners, we know what it takes to create something from scratch, while also having to compete with others in our space.

We all have a specific set of skills and levels of expertise that can give us the upper hand, however, when you start to add better time management and smarter work ethics in your day to day operations, we can all do even better.

Be sure to run through the list of recommended tips and solutions above to improve your incoming success as a small business owners and entrepreneur.

From hobby to hustle

Reading Time: 5 mins

“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” ― Mark Twain

And while that idea is pretty nice, even the most significant love you have for something can fade if you are overworked and underpaid. Typically we do hobbies as stress relief from our usually 9-5 job. But something those hobbies can be the keys to making decent cash – and we don’t even know it.

Or worse, you have been toying with the idea of selling what you make or looking online for work and haven’t. The worst thing about indecision is that you are doing nothing the whole time. Our hobbies improve our happiness levels a lot, and being able to turn that into a hustle, and then into a full-time job is impressive. But to create a business that is viable from something you do for a few hours on the weekend takes time and care. Commitment, planning, and a business attitude (even without any experience, you can do this).

Taking a ‘basics’ approach, here are some steps to get you started on building your hobby into a hustle.

Goals

Before you set out on this adventure – you need to set some goals. Do you just want to sell a few of your pieces, or get something published, or have a weekly stall on a market place. Are you thinking about one day leaving your job and doing this full time? The more income that you want to make from your hobby will mean the more time that you need to put into it.

Think It Out

It is easy to rush ahead in the planning and ideas process and be dreaming up names and business premises – and that is a great thing for your motivation. But you need to have some realistic ideas down on paper too. Is your business financially sustainable? Do you currently spend more on materials that the average price of what you do?

How many different revenue options are there from what you do? For example, a writer could ghostwrite books, create eBooks, write content and copy, press releases, and more. If you sew, you can teach classes (online or in-person), open a store, sell your works, or create and sell patterns.

Write a list of all of the ways you can make money from your hobby right now.

Joy

When you begin to turn your hobby into what will earn you money, you might lose some of the pleasure of it. Not in the early days because it is fresh and exciting, but over time. When your hobby becomes both time and money, the outlook can change. You won’t be able to just do what it is that you love; you will need to also handle the accounting, social media, marketing, and dealing with unhappy clients.

Get Better

Even if you have been doing something for years, you can still be better. That is the absolute joy of a hobby. There will be training and techniques that will make you better. This is something that should make it into your goals – to be better at what you do as the time goes on. This will be one of the ways that eventually you can upscale and see some growth within what you are doing. Before you decide you are going to leave your current job to make this work, get your skills up to par.

Business Plan

There is a school of thought that says that a business plan isn’t needed anymore. But really you can use a business plan as a way to firm your ideas and lock them down. As well as put all of your financial forecasts in place. If you are going to need finance, having a plan that is well presented and includes all of the information that you need is going to make a difference.

Think Business

Not everyone is analytically minded, and that is great – because otherwise, the world would be boring. However, you need to see your hobby as a money/time thing as well as something that you love. And view it more as a way that you are going to bring more money into the home. You will need to register your business in the entity that makes the most sense to your circumstance.

Marketing

When it comes to getting the word out there about your product or services – you need to learn fast, and well. Luckily there are many free online courses that can help you the main theories down. It pays to research small business marketing and learn how to manage your marketing on a shoestring budget. You should have a website and set up social media accounts for your business too. You don’t have to be a mogul but learn as you go and work on your marketing, and you’ll see results.

Branding

Your brand is going to be your business identity. It is what your customers will know you for, and what new customers see first. Your brand’s identity will strengthen over time. Most of the basis will be pulled from your business plan and the goals that you have set earlier on in the process. You will need to learn some basic design techniques, and even you can design a logo that is going to work. Think about the colors and styles that reflect the business that you are launching.

When working on the branding and the ethos of your business, you need to almost future proof yourself. So think carefully about some font styles and taglines, not everything ages with grace. In fact, some things age very badly indeed, and re-branding can be a costly venture later on.

Customers

If you are lucky, you might have a few clients already lined up and ready to buy your services or products. If not, you are going to have to put all of that marketing knowledge to good use. Once you hit the goal of getting your first customer outside of your circle of friends and family supporters, you will likely find that your confidence grows exponentially.

Money In Order

Once you are making money and spending anything on your business, you are going to need to make sure that you are keeping track of it properly. It doesn’t matter if it is a few cents/pence or hundreds – it all needs to be accounted for. Depending on the country of residence and the type of business entity will make a difference as to when you have to file your taxes and VAT. If you are shipping your products overseas, you might need to consider shipping costs in your pricing too.

Of course, the best option will be to hire an accountant to handle this, but in the early days, there is plenty of accountancy software that will help you keep on top of everything until you need to hire.

Growth & Success

Dream big. Once you have started and you see that you are running well, making a profit and still enjoying the work – you are going to want to consider what growth looks like to you. Success is a very personal thing, you should also have goals that you have for your business in terms of money, sales, and awards. Things that you can work towards and tick off when you reach them. Try not to judge your success by the success of others either – because comparison is the thief of joy.

Different types of influencers for your niche

Reading Time: 3 mins

No matter what niche your business is in, it is almost certainly crowded with other competitors gunning for the top spot. As we can imagine, this type of environment is requiring business owners to pump more money into their different business processes. This includes increasing their sales techniques budgets, branding, and marketing campaigns as well. That said, of these business processes, social media digital marketing has quickly grown to become one of if not the most important process to implement. In a nutshell, this process has allowed businesses to take advantage of the virtually endless supply of online browsers. As great as that sounds, using social media marketing methods are also becoming saturated. In other words, they are simply not as effective as they used to be due to a large number of businesses using them.

However, this is where influencer marketing comes into play. As a smaller branch of what is social media marketing, influencer marketing is essentially a more natural way to attract clients. Even better, there are many different types of influencers for a business to choose from that can allow for a better fit for this process. The only thing that takes away from the effectiveness of influencer marketing is that many businesses make the mistake of not knowing that different niches need different influencer types. For example, fitness influencers won’t necessarily be as useful for a business in the travel niche. Nonetheless, finding the best influencer simply comes down to determining which one best fits the needs and requirements of your business. With this in mind, here are several types of influencers to choose from for your business niche.

Content Blogger Influencers

One of the most common types of influencers that businesses can get a hold of is a content blogger influencer. As we can imagine, this type of influencer can help your business through written content that is relevant and informational for clients.

Social Media Personality Influncers

Social media personality influencers are effective in that they understand what is trending and popular on social media. As for your business, this helps it be more relevant and popular as well in a way that attracts many clients.

Photographer Influencers

Photographer influencers are easily one of the most popular types of influencers. For this reason, they are also one of the hardest to get a hold of. That said, if you do manage to acquire one, expect to recieve high traffic of engaging audiences to benefit from.

Celebrity Influencers

As we can imagine, celebrity influencers are mostly designated to larger businesses with a large enough budget to acquire them. However, there are man cases of celebrity influencers working with smaller transparent businesses withing their niche. If you manage to get a hold of one, your business has the advantage of benefiting from millions upon millions of potential buyers.

Macro-Influencers

While macro-influencers might not have a following as large as a celebrity might, there following is certainly large enough to bring in a big chunk of revenue. Macro influencers are essentially soon to be celebrity influencers with a following of around 500,000 people.

Micro-Influencers

Taking it a step down from macro-influencers is micro-influencers. These influencers are easier to acquire as they only carry around a few thousand followers. Still, this is a large enough audience to keep a few buyers on profitable monthly retainers.

Local Level Influencers

Finally, local level influencers are arguably the most immediately effective influencers to work with. Quite obviously, they work within the boundaries of your local niche in a way that makes the more resourceful to you. This type of influencers is effective for any smaller sized business looking to scale their social media presence on their own time.

Working With Influencers

In reality, working with influencers is only becoming more of a necessity just like social media marketing was when it was first introduced. Before you know it, businesses not using an influencer might take away from the legitimacy, trustworthiness, and relevancy of their business. Needless to say, taking advantage of any one of these types of influencers should be done sooner rather than later.

If you’re friendly and like to work flexible hours, being a market researcher can be a great way to pull in the extra cash.

As you can see in our article here about being a market researcher, there are various ways you can do it.

You can do market research on the phone, knocking on your neighbours’ doors, sopping people in the streets or visiting people in your locality after setting up an appointment with them.

You get paid either an hourly rate or a job rate. It’s good for mums, students or anyone who wants work that will fit around their lives.
